Polyester strapping is the strongest of all plastic strapping material. The highest initial tension can be applied and retained over a period of time. This form of strapping is smooth and requires the use of scored seals. Polyester strapping can be used and secured with friction weld tools or can be heat sealed.
Polyester strapping is the other poly strapping. Polyester strapping takes less time and effort to use when compared to steel strapping. It will not snap back or recoil when cut and there are no sharp edges to handle. This type of strap only elongates one to two percent when stretched within it’s limits as opposed to to the five percent elongation seen with polypropylene. Impact resistance of polyester strapping two time of that of the same sized steel strapping which helps to assure your product arrives in the same shape as it was when shipped. Just as the polypropylene, polyester strapping is available for hand and machine application usage.
