A new web-based software program introduced by Wynright Corporation, of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, allows warehouse operators to integrate their warehouse control systems that control real-time activities in their facility with their warehouse management systems, which control overall operations.
The software, called Wynsoft, allows for greater efficiency, improved accuracy and lower costs as materials move through the supply chain, according to a company news release.
Randy Marble, Wynright’s software director, said the software was developed to fulfill a specific need.
“There is a huge need for integrated controls within the supply chain right now. More and more organizations are putting some form of material handling into their environments so they don’t have time for large, complex integration projects. They just need everything to work. The Wynsoft solution answers that need today and positions our clients for future growth.”
Wynright currently is developing new modules that address workflow and control scenarios typical to most distribution and fulfillment facilities.
