The Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) predicts orders for material handling equipment to grow 11% to 12% in 2011/2012. MHIA also expects shipments to increase by 12% to 13%.
In contrast, orders for material handling equipment rose 22.4% last year while shipments rose 6.1%.
