The 2nd Quarter issue of the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association’s journal features articles on how businesses can better manage their online reputation.
In particular, the Journal includes an article by Sam Richter discussing how a business’ reputation is affected by what they say online. In his article, Richter warns how a little carelessness can destroy a decades-old clean record in a heartbeat. Richter goes on to share how material handling professionals can avoid this situation.
“What makes Web 2.0 so dangerous is that you can not only share information and distribute it on a global scale without the benefit of an editor, but worse, what you say online can be archived and searchable by anyone – forever. One online mistake can theoretically haunt you for the rest of your life,” Richter said.
