Laser technology developer Mazak Optonics Corp. will be holding laser seminars in an open house next week to discuss how automated material handling can increase operational capacity at the workplace. The seminars can help manufacturers resolve manpower issues brought about by the recession.
The seminars and open house will be held on June 15 and 16 at the Mazak Optonics’ Laser Technology Center in Elgin, Illinois.
A plant tour is also slated for June 17 in the morning. In the afternoon, plant tour participants can join in a company golf outing at the Prairie Landing Golf Club in West Chicago.
According to Mazak Optonics Corp. President Bill Citron, leading edge technology whether as a standalone machine and/or automated material handling can significantly increase throughput while lowering cost per part and without raising labor costs.
