National Manufacturing Day isn’t until next October 2, but now organizations, businesses and individuals who want to participate in the event can visit a new website that is available all the time.
MFGDAY.com allows visitors to sign up to host events in their area, learn more about sponsorship opportunities, and even volunteer to help out.
For the past three years, Manufacturing Day has celebrated modern manufacturing through events intended to inspire the next generation of manufacturing professionals. Last year, more than 1,650 companies n the US, Canada and Puerto Rico participated by sponsoring events that were attended by more tan 360,000 people, many of them high school and college aged.
By launching the new website, the organizers of Manufacturing Day hope to increase participate even further so that they can further educate the public about the benefits of manufacturing.
