Robotics students from Missouri’s Jefferson College and other colleges and university were invited to tour Intelligrated’s St. Louis manufacturing facility as part of National Robotics Week, the annual celebration of all things robotic which was held April 5 through 13, according to a company news release. The purpose of the visit was to give students interested in robotics careers a first-hand look at how robots are used in industry in real world situations. As one of the nation’s leading automated material handling solutions provider, Intelligrated is in a unique position to provide students access to robotics technology, engineering and science that they otherwise might never encounter, said Earl Wohlrab, the company’s manager for robotic and palletizing systems.
