TVH Parts Company announced last week that it has purchased Equipment Parts Wholesale, a supplier of parts and supplies for aerial lift equipment.
TVH, which is based in Olathe, Kanas, already is recognized as the world’s largest distributor and manufacturer of forklift replacements parts. Its acquisition of Equipment Parts Wholesale gives a higher profile in the aerial lift parts market, according to Dirk von Holt, TVH’s vice president.
“There was an opportunity to acquire the assets of EPW which aligns with the strategy of our company to increase our product selection to include other industrial equipment segments,” von Holt said in a news release.
EPW, which is based in Fresno, California, was founded in 2001. It is widely recognized as one of the most respected suppliers of replacement parts for aerial lifts.
Brian MacFarland, EPW general manager, said the company was happy to be bought by TVH.
“We welcome the support that TVH can bring to our efforts to provide a full range of products and ensure a reliable supply in well-located distribution points throughout North America.”
TVH is a Belgian company that has been in business since 1969. It recently bought a partially built distribution center in Miami and hired Flagler Global Logistics to complete the construction according to TVH’s specifications.
TVH has more than 3,900 employees in 172 nations around the world. In the US, TVH in the Americas has more than 750 employees at nine facilities.
