EXPO PACK Mexico 2014, which currently is being held at the Centro Banamex, Mexico City, is expected to attract more then 30,000 visitors and features more than 1,000 exhibitors, according to a trade show new release.
The trade expo will feature packaging and procession equipment used in a variety of manufacturing industries, including food and beverge, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and personal care.
Charles D. Yuska, president and CEO of PMMI, the show’s producer, said the 200,000 square foot expo floor has been sold out for exhibitors for months.
“it’s going to a busy, high-energy exposition,” Yuksa told Modern Materials Handling. “Every available bit of booth space is accounted for. Considering the level of enthusiasm in the Mexican marketplace as a whole, that’s not surprising.”
The show floor features pavilions dedicated to food processing and drug manufacturing.
“EXPO PACK Mexico will reflect the international marketplace, with leading original equipment manufacturers from all over the world,” Yuska said. “The PMMI Pavilion featurrees 82 PMMI member companies and our international pavilions represent Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China Spain and the United States.”
“It’s the largest packaging and processing exposition in Latin America,” Yuksa said. “But what makes EXPO PACK Mexico great isn’t its size, it’s the quality of the exhibitors and the innovations and insights they provide. If you’re a leader in packaging and processing — a supplier or end user — you need to be there.”
