Columbus McKinnon has rolled out what it calls its lightest and most compact 3/4 and 1-1/2 ton ratchet hoist ever. The ratchet hoist, called the CM Bandit, currently is available in Canada and will be sold in the US starting next month, according to a company news release.
What makes it unique is its compact design and short handle, which makes it ideal for operating confined spaces. It’s also portable, free chaining, and has a 360 degree rotating handle.
Plus, the Bandit’s upper and lower hooks swivel and are bolted in place for easy inspection and removal. They also both feature wide throat openings for quick load attachment. The tool also has corrosion resistant parts and a zinc-plated load chain.
