Safety slip mats work well in wet, dry or greasy slippery areas. These types of mats are usually made up of rubber construction. Safety slip mats will remove the water, dirt, grime, sand and salt from shoes. They are perfect for any area where traction is critical such as entryways and production rooms.
Some carpet mats work just as well. These mats are mostly made up of thick fibers for scraping and thin fibers for wiping. This type of fiber mat gathers much of the dirt and moisture from shoe traffic it comes in contact with. In some cases they come equipped with a water dam fabric border that will trap more dirt and water. these fiber mats can hold up to a gallon and a half of moisture per square yard.
