For the seventh consecutive time, the lift trucks by Toyota Material Handling U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) ranked first for lowest cost of ownership in a yearly study by Peerless Media Research Group.
Peerless Media defines cost of ownership as the potential related expenses of a lift truck over and above its acquisition cost. Cost of ownership takes into account financing, depreciation, insurance, fuel, downtime, maintenance and repairs.
“We are honored that lift truck customers have voted Toyota’s forklifts the best value for their money,” TMHU President Brett Wood said. He added that the company strives to deliver the highest quality and value in all its products and services.
The Peerless Media research surveyed more than 300 individuals across a wide range of industries who are involved in their companies’ acquisition of material handling equipment.
